Job Description: As a Study Abroad Counsellor at Infiniit Counselling, you will play a pivotal role in helping students navigate the complexities of studying abroad. You will provide personalized counselling services tailored to each student's academic interests, career aspirations, and cultural preferences, ensuring they make informed decisions about their international education journey. You will serve as a mentor and advocate, guiding students through the application process, preparing them for the challenges and opportunities of studying in a foreign country, and supporting their personal and academic growth abroad based on Infiniit’s Platform.
Responsibilities:

Handling inbound & Outbound Counselling calls. Conduct presentations on counselling to Students at Institutes.

Conduct one-on-one counselling sessions with students to assess their study abroad goals, interests, and preferences.

Provide information and guidance on study abroad programs, universities, and destinations based on students' academic needs and personal interests.

Assist students in selecting appropriate study abroad programs and universities, considering factors such as academic reputation, location, and cultural fit.

Guide students through the application process for study abroad programs, including assistance with application materials, essays, and required documentation.

Offer support and resources to students preparing for standardized tests (e.g., TOEFL, IELTS) and assist with test registration and preparation strategies.

Organize informational sessions, workshops, and presentations to educate students about study abroad opportunities, application procedures, and cultural adjustment.

Provide guidance on financial planning for study abroad, including scholarships, grants, and funding opportunities.

Collaborate with university faculty, administrators, and study abroad offices to facilitate a smooth transition for students between their home institution and the host country.

Offer ongoing support to students during their study abroad experience, including assistance with academic integration, cultural adjustment, and problem-solving.

Maintain accurate records of student interactions and program applications, and generate reports as needed to track outcomes and evaluate the effectiveness of counselling services.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Counselling, Education, International Relations, or related field (Master's degree preferred).

Previous experience in study abroad advising, international education, or related field preferred.

Knowledge of study abroad programs, university admissions processes, and cultural considerations.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Proficiency in relevant software applications and online resources used in study abroad advising.

Commitment to promoting cultural exchange, diversity, and global understanding.
